Cont in this way, changing colours as stated every 16 rows and keeping lace patt correct as you increase (hence row40 will use Row 4 of the fishtail as its template, introducing another whole pattern as soon as you have the stitches at beginning, each side of centre, and end of row. Cast off over all 283 sts when 9th stripe in A is complete, working a further purl increase row before casting off – 141 rows.
